Scott Rousel and his partner had podcast yesterday . . . both certainly seem to think Campbell is Woodwards guy based on their contacts. Both confirmed that LSU hasn't reached out to Napier as of Monday. Aranda is solid, but doesn't have longevity as head of a program that Campell/Napier have. Not a single mention of Riley during an 18 minute podcast.

My 2 guesses at this point in time are Riley or Campbell. Anyone else would shock me.

Their sources are coaches and agents.

Not saying it may not be Campbell, but don’t think their “sources” are any better than some of the information generated on this board.

He’s been gaining steam for a while now, was basically told that Campbell is Woodward’s “Ace in the hole” if he strikes out with bigger names.

Meh. More wild-arse speculation from random sports bros.

If W hires him without offering Aranda, we riot.

I’m betting that every name thrown out there was thrown out for either a raise or leverage in other job searches.

This whole narrative that Aranda doesn't have enough experience is a bunch of bullshite. You don't need years of experience when you see how a guy has already picked his coaching staff, handles his players, works with administration, carry's himself in public, calls a game, manages a game. Anyone saying he doesn't have enough experience just doesn't want him. He has plenty of experience. Sam Pittman at Arkansas had little to no head coaching experience and noone thinks he shouldn't be coaching at Arkansas. So as far as Dave Aranda and lack of experience, just drop it.

I would have been fine with Campbell before there became a likelihood that Napier would go to UF.

Just saying, Campbell hire would very closely resemble the baseball search. Not saying I would be disappointed.

This sounds really similar to the same crap some other reporter put out yesterday or the day before. The more I see or hear these talking heads repeating the same thing as other reporters/talk shows, the more I believe that SW really has kept this quiet.
