Today is not a day of celebration

Under the laws of the state of WI, there is no doubt that Rittenhouse was not guilty of what he was charged with. The facts of the particular case, and the laws that applied to this case, were clear. This was classic self-defense.
Every case, every one, is different.
But the defendant still paid lots of money in legal fees. The government still wasted resources on this trial. And two people are dead.
For people to riot against this verdict is idiotic, because again, the system got it right. But for people to be celebrating, is just as idiotic.
This case never should have been brought to trial.

And an innocent person has just had their entire life fricked for the next (probably) couple decades. No college or employer is likely going to go near him.
