and it was fricking $12 for 16 oz - double the price from a few months ago. This was at a discount supermarket. What the hell is going on?

I just paid $6.68 for 12ounces at Walmart Natural Choice. Bought 6 packs. I don’t normally look at prices when I purchase things but with all the talk about meat supplies going up it seems exaggerated to some degree. If you paid $12 for 16 ounce you got ripped. Find a new place to purchase bacon.
