Fair question (if I'm gonna poo the LR deal).
First of all, it's about winning championships (thanks to Arnsparger). I think Riley's philosophy is fundamentally flawed. That's a major reason (not talent BTW) that he loses 2 games every year. He's an offensive guy that's more comfortable in a shoot-out than a blow-out.
So here's my short list (no order):
Fickell
Aranda
Napier
Meyer - easily the most accomplished coach we could hire. Could win nattys at 3 different schools (would be a first). Could catch Saban. Be the GOAT here.
At this juncture, I think all of these are more complete HCs than Riley. SW just needs to do his homework.

Riley’s buyout is not 20 mil it s around 6 or 7. You’re too seasoned of a poster on here to not know this by now. Unless I’m misinterpreting what you meant

Ah, okay I didn't see his numbers I thought buyout was closer to 20 million + I was adding in O's buyout.
