Did Lattimore regress or did he stop caring now that he got paid.

I feel it has been noticeable that he has been playing bad football since the Giants game (outside of playing against Evans). He seems to be routinely getting roasted on simple routes. Is it schematic, or is he just not giving a shite?

AJ Brown didn’t do anything yesterday. Was that Lattimore?

He definitely locked DK Metcalf down the entire game minus one play where he was armbarred to the ground.

Slants and underneath was the name of the game and he didn't give up anything deep.
Issue is if we're gonna allow the underneath routes, you gotta have someone who can make a tackle.

Corner is extremely difficult to be dominant at every game or even the majority of the time. He came back early from a broken hand. Not everyone who gets paid and has a down stretch of games suddenly stopped caring.

WTF are you talking about? He's having one of the best seasons for a CB.

out of everything that is wrong with this team you are going to say Lat? smh

Pump the brakes. He’s ranked 48th out of 116 on PFF and that ranking has been consistently getting worse over the past month.
All you blind keyboard Warriors that blindly defend need to remove your head from your arse.
Latt has been lackadaisical as frick the last 2 weeks. Watch him pre play. 80% of the time he’s not even in a stance when the ball is snapped and that’s part of the reason why he’s prone to getting smoked a few plays a game.
If you rewind the tape even further, probably to what is considered his best game, Washington. The only reason why he was any good in that game was bc Wash’s QB was inaccurate and late multiple times, so instead of easy completions, Latt was getting some gift pass breakups.

He's been pretty subpar the last 2-3 weeks

I am one of the more vocal critics of Latt because you expect more consistency from him, but OP is way off saying he's checked out. He has played well most of the season in his press-man and man defenses, and has been exposed in zone defenses because he takes too many unnecessary risks.
Atl just had a good game plan all around and primarily exposes CGJ & when we would put a LBer on one of their WRs. I don't recall Latt being overly terrible in that game. Yesterday, it appeared he was getting beat consistently on crossing routes, and slants (even when they didn't throw his way). The big play was on a pick-play, legal, so I wouldn't hold that against anyone.

If memory serves, Roby was on him most of the game.

I swear this fricking board hates whenever any player gets paid

He played good first couple games but struggled against Giants ATL Tenn. Dk beat him deep. He hasn't been very good of late since his great start

Thanks! I said same thing and get down votes. The down votes are from the Saints fan that wears black and gold shades 24-7 365. Since nyg game he hasn't been good. He got picked on yesterday to a wr that isn't a top 150 Wr

Lattimore had a lot of slants and short routes run his way. It wasn't his best game but he had 6 tackles and missed a couple . He may be dinged up a little. Who knows, they are tight lipped about that stuff.

I thought watching the game he just looked slower than usual.

Hasn’t he be playing with a cast the last three weeks?

Does your healthcare plan include vision? If not, open enrollment should be occurring soon if it's not already available. You should look into that.

That's exactly what happens when you put on the detachable stud cleats. You give up speed for better traction. Payton made the whole team wear them yesterday.

I think the upvote-downvote ratio to the OP provides the answer.
He has been pretty good most of the time.
He was covering on the slant the guy took 50 yards in the 1st quarter, but he was pretty clearly chopped/picked by the other receiver on that side, and Tannehill did a good job hitting the guy in stride.
