I'm curious about your reasoning here. If Rhule is genuinely interested in returning to the college game, which I doubt, I don't see why he wouldn't be closer to (or at) the top of the list.

I do not want Riley nor Fickell. They both barely win in their shite conferences and get beat when they play the big boys.
For me it is and has always been Aranda. He coaches disciplined ball. He is cerebral. He locks down the defensive side of the ball. If you don't think good defense matters, go look what he did this weekend.
The fact that he kicked the field goal for tie breaker reasons means he is aware of minute details that matter in the long game. I think DJ would learn immensely from him.
Edit... If we could get Saban, that would be my top guy but i doubt it. Make him tell you no 3 times @ 15m/year then go get Aranda.

I’d agree with this. Tucker and Napier are tied for me, very unsure about each of their schemes but both are excellent leaders and planners. Jimbo’s recruiting and skins on the wall are enticing but you’d hope he opens his mind to hiring a young and innovative OC to update his scheme. His offenses tend to leave a lot to be desired. Riley is an obvious home run and Aranda would be a great hire as well. Only thing with Aranda is 1: Recruiting and 2: Who will the OC be? (I think Grimes may get a HC job this off-season)
