Been listening to Ruston Kelly something serious lately. Anyone got any recommendations for similar music? I also like old Isbel and hayes Carl.

maybe too many ballads for you but Allison Kraus and Union Station are world class musicians and Allison herself has maybe the finest voice ever. Try the live album (creatively called “Live”)

Have you listened to Ruston Kelly? I would call it Nashvegas-icana. The OP ain't gonna like Son Volt if he thinks Ruston is Americana.
