I'm not even saying Saban is declining now. But when it starts, it happens fast.

Little Nicky is still recruiting the best. He's had 9 out of 11 of the top rankings, and the other 2 he finished 2nd I believe.

But, all things considered, with Bama's dogshit schedule every year, they should have won the title more often than they did. So, how great is the GOAT? And more importantly, the decline is here now. We are seeing it and will continue to see it. And I will enjoy every second...

I'll take notice when he doesn't have another record breaking recruiting class.

"Saban/Bama is falling off."
"2022 Alabama is set to break an all time record in recruting AGAIN FOR THE 12 STRAIGHT YEAR!!"

Yeah but they are following off.

This is not about Saban. He has a young QB that is not as confident as Tua was.

Saban must feel like 100 with all the tantrums over the years.

He is talking losses in stride and never did that before

Well, he has only had 1 loss in the last two years and all but two of his national championships came with a loss, so I guess he does take 1 loss in stride.

Bama is human this year, but still capable of probably beating any team. They are just much more capable of losing to teams that aren't stacked.

Georgia is the clear #1, but I'm not completely sold on their offense if they face an aggressive D. Saban will probably coach until he has one foot in the grave. He didn't look like a spectator when he was berating the refs thinking Ward targeted Young.

relax, every coach make a mistake, Saban's mistake was hiring Bill O'Brien which will be fixed in the off season and Bama will be back to Bama next year.

Jesus Christ he just won a national championship a year ago and they’re ranked #2. The second the gumps get restless I’d pack my shite and head to the lake. Let them hire another Mike and wonder around in the wilderness for another 20 years.

Saturday night was the first time I really took notice of the fact Saban looks very old on the sidelines. And he is also at the age where blowing a gasket, whether screaming at one of his coaches, players, refs etc. could result in a heart attack.
I am not saying he should quit at the end of the season, (that sure would piss off the gumps if he did!) but he is going to have to come to terms with his age over the next few seasons. He has nothing else to prove, will go down probably as the best coach in NCAA history, I only wish he could have spent more years at LSU.

The correct answer is Paterno.

To my knowledge neither Fulmer nor Bowden kept a known criminal pervert on their respective staffs.
