The starting 11 from that roster is fine
I’d have brooks or miazaga over McKenzie
Konrad over nipples. Jesus prolly just tagging along with pepi is cheaper for federation than flying in hoppe lolz
Midfielder backups need some new blood.
I’m assuming there won’t be much rotation due to 2 game window so probably shouldn’t see to much over GGG’s favs….we shall see…
Eta by backups I’d replace dat boy with LDLT. Acosta is Acosta and roldan just hasn’t produced

I think it’s interesting that there is no true 9 except Pepi.
Also, the Dest injury is killer, but hopefully it gives Scally an opportunity.

McKenzie over Brooks is just asinine. Sucks that Dest is out. Behind our MMA midfield my god the dropoff is insane. Would have liked De La Torre over Lletget or Roldan. Surprised Ferreira is in there over Dike and Hoppe

My first thought is that Ferreira and Pepi have insane chemistry together for Dallas (it's a shame the rest of that team isnt very good or inexperienced), so maybe Gregg wants to see how they do on the national team.

So GGG is gonna tough love one of the mainstays at CB bc of poor performances for the MNT, yet continues to call up Lletget, Acosta, Arriola, and Roldan?

Does McKenzie even play for his club? Seems like every time I look at a Genk match it has him on the bench. Why call him up over Brooks?

That’s a really classy statement by Brooks. And I think a dumb decision by Berhalter. Leaving Brooks off to take McKenzie/Richards. Neither of these guys are lighting it up either with their clubs and neither has shown they can touch the ceiling of play Brooks has in the past.
The Dest injury really sucks. Last window played without Brooks, Pulisic, Reyna and this window it’s no Brooks, Reyna, Dest.

I wouldn’t even start Pulisic vs Mexico as I assume he will only play a half whether due to fitness or a new injury. May as well be the second half.

Who is actually unavailable due to injury besides Dest, Gio Reyna, and Aaron Long?
Lletget and Roldan just don’t have the quality to play important minutes against Mexico.

I’m not a fan of this roster. I’m not sure what point Gregg is trying to make with Brooks. Yes, he’s cost us two points switching off against Canada, and looked like crap against Honduras (whereas McKenzie actually looked decent), but I don’t see how you leave him off when his recent performances for Wolfsburg have been solid and McKenzie hardly plays. Roldan/Lletget over LDLT will never not bother me. I’m ok leaving Hoppe off because he hasn’t played a minute since the last window. The injury to Dest sucks. I hope Scally gets a chance to prove himself.
