So the college educated white men that run TalkingChop.com have decided that name is offensive…even though it is highly unlikely any Native American tribe complained about the name of their little fan site. Oh the narcissism.
In their genius, they have decided to change to a “more inclusive” name: BatteryPower.com. They did this knowing full well the Braves currently have a prominent domestic abuser under contract and on the team. Even a D level comic could have seen this coming.
Living the values of tolerance and inclusivity….they will also delete any comment on their site that is even slightly critical of the name change.

It’s sad, because I enjoy the content. They delete any comments that are the slightest bit critical, so it gives the appearance that all the commenters are aligned with them. You can’t even submit a post without it first being reviewed by a moderator before going public.
TalkingChop was offensive due to the evils of white capitalism and colonialism. A name honoring native peoples and bringing awareness to their struggles was just too much to endure, they decided.
So instead, they changed their name to honor the capitalist enterprises surrounding the park, most owned by white men. This free marketing and honor is much more inclusive.

Yeah, I think I've listened to my last Podcast from these clowns. The whole name change was dumb imo but I've been getting fed up with their antics before that. Just wish there was something else out there that was comparable in content.

Does anyone have good Braves podcast/site they can recommend as an alternative to the site formerly known as TalkingChop? One that sticks to baseball and isn’t a bunch of virtue signaling asshats?
ETA: I just got banned for the second time for suggesting that the Braves organization made a mistake in firing their very well regarded minor league hitting instructor for not getting vaccinated. I’m done with that site.

Podcast wise I listen to "Behind The Braves," "From The Diamond," and will occasionally listed to DOB's podcast "755 is Real" depending on who the guest is on the show. None of these go into detail like the TC nerds do.

He's dead to me if he goes to LAD. Unforgivable. AA cannot let him walk. It's absurd he didn't take care of it prior to last season.

It will bug me to no end if he ends up elsewhere.
Freddie has said he wants to be back, all of the our key players have said they want him back, AA has said he wants him back. Considering all of that, it'll be a failure if Freddie ends up elsewhere.
Just get it done by giving him the sixth year.

Don't give him a 6th. I love Freddie but even with the DH, by year 4 he becomes a liability.
