And FWIW, Bleacher Report(LOL) first "reported" this. Olney is only piggybacking off of it and he should know better than to trust Bleacher Report.

I honestly don’t care about being a bit hamstrung by Freddie’s contract in 5-6 years. The window is open now.

The original report was by Olney who stated that many around the game think that the Braves will move quickly as soon as an agreement is reached to trade for Olson or sign Rizzo before Freddie signs. Braves would lose leverage in negotiations if they wait out Freddie. But he also said it’s thought that Freddie will move quickly to do whatever he does.
