Story
I have to say this is one of the oddest things I've ever seen.
I remember reading about this years ago.

Pretty sure there is a doc on Netflix or HBOMax (one or the other) about this. Very strange and sad to say the least.

The Netflix documentary about it was creepy AF.

Every doc I've seen on this tries to make these people out to be geniuses but in the end they just seemed like schizos trying to hash out a plan they couldn't execute properly.

Watch the documentary series on Netflix. It’s nuts

Didn't the wife or whatever pretty much admit to killing him?

The guy who orchestrated the whole thing died of cancer or something. He basically convinced a bunch of mental unstable people to go along with some half-baked plan to steal money from a bank. The guy wasn't supposed to die and then they couldn't get anyone else to talk and eventually the brains of the operation died taking all the possible info with him. The woman involved was a legit psychotic and completely unreliable.

Best part of that documentary was how each person involved couldn't stop with the typical white trash line of "they think they're so smart," as if they were all geniuses with master plans.

It's a wild story, the Netflix doc was really interesting.
The movie 30 Minutes or Less that came out 10 years ago seems to be based on this story, although the studio apparently claims they had no knowledge of it (BS)

And, apparently, beautiful. The best part about the doc was people talking about how hot she was

For some reason I hate this story. Probably because it's promoted and touted as so interesting and compelling and is the subject of endless discussion and shows, yet in the end it's just pathetic, weird and sad.

What a weird thing to claim
it was so obviously taken from that event, was there really going to be some sort of push back if they said they took some ideas?

A pizza man is sent on a delivery to a radio tower where several individuals lock a bomb around his neck and he given instructions to rob a bank with a home made cane gun. He robs the bank and is stopped by police. He tells them his situation and they wait for bomb squad but unfortunately the device detonates and kills him. There is a lot to unpack in the investigation but the bomb maker dies of cancer and two other accomplices go to prison.

So do yall think Brian Wells was in on the plan at all or was he completely innocent as his hooker girlfriend said?
Her guilty conscious (and possibly having his kid) is the only reason I can think for her to come forward so Ilean towards believing her . Its just weird how he seemed so calm walking in and out of the bank with a lolli pop in his mouth.

Evil Genius (Netflix). It's excellent.

I think he was a weak minded individual that was taken advantage of and set up. The prostitution underworld knew this.
