If he could get TCU going that would be a huge spring board for him.

Hiring a guy with Louisiana and Texas recruiting ties would be appealing

Will he take it? Idk. The a big 12 is about to be a mid major conference.

Think he would be a good fit honestly.

They will likely hire Dykes.

Napier can probably do better if he holds out. Although he could go to TCU and if he's successful there, he could make the next leap to a top 10 program.

This is a reasonable jump for him.

Hope Napier is at LSU. Starting to think there is no way that will happen. Mistake by LSU.

Bigger jobs that apparently had caveats and strings attached.

I just don’t see him going from ULL to Alabama.

He turned down USCe, Moo State, and Auburn but TCU would be the one to pull him? No chance.

Didn't Auburn have the mandate of who he had to keep on staff? Are you really sure besides Auburn those are better jobs?

He said no to Auburn and South Carolina. He is not going to TCU.

I expect he'll sit back to see which other dominoes fall in terms of coaches getting fired or taking other jobs.

I would think conference realignment would also be a consideration as well.

An appropriate move and would be a good hire.

Then in 3-4 years he’s primed for a move to a prime program.

Maybe our hire doesn’t work out and then it’s time to take a look at him.

If not then that fits the time line of Texas opening up or Florida. Clemson if dabo continues to decline

No. Auburn fans said this is completely false.

What is the source for this? Auburn fans say he was never offered the job.

Figures he would want to be back home. Haven't kept up with VA Tech. So they're in a position to hire a new HC?
