No need to overpay. I'm all in for Riley. But I hope we don't give stupid money to anybody else. Makes sense?

frick you. We will overpay and you will deal with it!

I want to set the standard for overpaying coaches!

Get the guy you want! That’s it. It’s not overpaying if you want it that bad.

Especially when the guy has the exact same agent everybody else does. You really think Napier wouldn't bounce if he very reasonably finds out that Lincoln Riley was offered 100 million for 8 and you got offered 22.5 for 5? You can put more on incentives and offer less because he's more of a risk, but you can't do someone anywhere near that dirty and keep getting guys to come...

I do not like to overpay. It's stupid - and yes it is my money.

Nap or Gary Patterson - cheap and lazy hires that are both winners.

Whoever we hire, it’s going to be an overpay compared to current coaching salaries. With the news of expansion and the new expected revenue schools are going to have more money. As others have said though, who cares? If the money guys want to drop a massive bag to get a good coach, I’m grateful for that because many fanbases don’t have that luxury.

This x 1000. I think Woodward has a better handle on the athletic departments financial situation than some random poster on CCB. It’s comical really the number of financial experts that have come out of the woodshed for this one.

End of the day, Woody will get the right guy for the right price. What that price is shouldn’t mean shite to you.

Because the money comes (in part) from money that I and every other TAF member gives. Money that goes toward more than just coaches salaries.
