Long article, but basically the Rams owner said he would cover all legal bills if the league / other owners were sued because of the Rams move to LA.

There have now been bills in the 8 figures, and the Rams owner is now saying he won't pay anymore.

Real interesting read. Apparently Jerruh is his BFF.

The claim is that one unnamed owner fricked up in their deposition and that is the source of this mess, with no name given.

I doubt that name will be withheld for long if Kroenke reneges on paying tens of millions in legal fees related to his fricking relocation plan.

Pash replied that he had, sources told ESPN. Jones indicated that Kroenke's settlement figure was billions of dollars. Pash refused to confirm the figure -- a source with direct knowledge of the situation told ESPN it was less than a billion -- but told those in the meeting that it was more than the net worth of some in the room.

If Kroenke is willing to settle for "billions" or even less than a billion... how much are the potential damages? And who has to pay that?

Some of these owners must be pretty leveraged.

Talked to some one involved in the lawsuit.

STL wanted $20 million, to cover the cost of the surveys, work done for new stadium, etc and stuff, and 5 million for legal fees. They would of broke even with the $25million, but would of been happy, NFL and Stan told them to frick off.

Now, after the judge has opened up the books of the owners, he, and people in the know are expecting the NFL will beg St.Louis to take an expansion team. They are claiming St.Louis could get 300Mil++++ if it goes to trial. One even claimed it could get to 750million-1 billion in damages.

The evidence against Kroenke, dumoff, and the league is so damning, that they are desperate for St>louis to show mercy.

Pretty funny reading a first hand retelling of all these billionaires who almost always step in the same formation, bickering and arguing like you would with 10 drunk buddies about how to split the Airbnb total

Kroenke is one of the wealthiest single owner in sports. All that Walmart money.

I want it to go to trial so bad. The NFL would be fricked beyond belief whether they lose the suit or win the suit. The stuff that would be made public would cripple them.

I think they're going to settle. Either for a shitload of money to the city or a franchise.

As a city resident, I'd rather the franchise. The local government can't embezzle a franchise.

Once it all comes out, majority of NFL fans will give a high 5 for st.louis sticking it up kroenke and nfl arse.

During part of the BS, Kroenke and his moron of sidekick, were emailing the St.Louis board of aldermen, and telling them not to vote yes, for funds for a new stadium. LOL

They would get on local radio and lie, then lie about that lie, then lie even more. There is so much audio evidence, it's laughable.

The gig was up many years ago, the team tried to alienate the fans as much as they could. They were the only team, for many years who had no draft party for fans.

Rams had 10 years-ish or more of sellouts. Putting out the worst product in NFL history changed that, especially as they alienated the fans to stop going.

I was no Rams fan, but Kroenke ran the team into the ground to leave. Remember, he waited till the last minutes to use his right or first refusal, and steal back team from SHad Khan, who was in works to buy Rams and keep them in St.Louis. Khan even came in took walk thru with kroenke, then stan waited till last hours to use the 1st refusal clause.

Ah, that makes sense. I was like, if this is $10 million, that is pocket change to these guys. $90 million, still not much. Hundreds of millions, now we're talking.
