Play calling is horrible vs Kansas. Don't like the way he handled the quarterback situation.
Also I like a HC to be a little more manly, not Neanderthal like O, but y'all know what I'm saying.

Riley is a really good coach against the weak sisters of the Big 12. Playoff? Loses every time. Those are the kind of teams he'll face in the SEC every regular season.

These people are brain dead. You don’t want the head coach that has been to multiple playoffs with a top 5 offensive almost every year and is pulling top 10 classes to Norman, OK? So we can hire a g5 coach like fickell or Napier? Because the playoff coach hasn’t played good enough competition? Lololol

Have no idea who they will hire, but Riley wins in a weak conference when Texas has been down, A&M is gone, and his team gets in yearly death struggles with teams like Iowa State.
For that, he's rewarded with playoff berths where he's lost every single game where he's faced the kind of teams he would see in the SEC every year during the regular season.

If he came to LSU he would have access to FAR more defensive talent in recruiting than he has at OU. Aside from that, LSU is going to have to hire a coach and it’s not going to be saban smart or day. Every coach will have flaws. Napier and fickell also don’t play real competition. Kiffin is discount Riley with baggage. Tucker and aranda have a severe lack of experience, and also the same competition issues. Riley is easily the strongest candidate of the bunch
