This was as obvious a move as the sun rise. When anything can be declared a public health crisis, and we allow the government to do whatever it wants during a public health crisis, should we be surprised that ANYTHING will be called a public health crisis?

EXACTLY. Sadly FAR too much of the populace was/is too shortsighted to see it coming from a mile away.

This entire, pathetic, episode in western civilization has shown us many things. But on of the biggest is that all bureaucrats and executive branch officials have to do is label ANYTHING a "public health crisis" and they can completely bypass the legislative process which is the foundation of our system of government.

The "panicdemic" has proven that most people will simply just accept it, along with many others who will openly beg for it. Think about how absurdly fricking stupid it is to label racism as a "PUBLIC HEALTH crisis". This is only the tip of the iceberg as to what future things will be labeled "public health crises". Sadly, most won't realize what is going on until we are MILES down the road with this stupidity.

refusal to inject something into your body - public health crisis
energy from fossil fuels - public health crisis
internal combustion engines - public health crisis
single family zoning - public health crisis
In person voting - public health crisis
speech that doesn't meet the "approved" narrative - public health crisis

If the legislatures won't approve their agenda...just label whatever it is as a "public health crisis" and govern by executive branch fiat
