Heard Will Cain say J and J vaccine is only 3% effective

I was watching Will Cain on Fox at 6 and he was talking about the waining effectiveness of the vaccines and said shockingly that the J and J vaccines effectiveness has fallen to 3%?
How is this possible?
Does he mean if you received it when the pandemic began, it’s now down to 3% effectiveness?

At that effectiveness, it would be worse than a placebo.
All the risk, none of the benefit.
All the risk, none of the benefit.

The researchers found that among more than 600,000 veterans, J&J's vaccine's protection fell from 88% in March to 3% in August. Meanwhile, Moderna's vaccine protection against infection fell to 64% from 92%, and Pfizer's declined to 50% from 91% during that same time period.

Does a therapeutic injection to reduce the severity of the flu last longer than a year? Why would a similar injection for covid be any different?

Gonna need a real citation on this...not the remarks of some queer looking pundit.

I got the J&J since I figured it was the lesser of the evils. I would have wanted them to inject saline tbh so I don’t care about the efficacy.
This is all bullshite. Novavax needs to be approved.

The J&J vaccine is basically the same as a flu vaccine. It's just that it was made for the initial "wild type" strain of the virus. It does not take into account the variety of potential new "variants." It is a waste of time at this point to get the J&J vaccine. You're not likely to get the version of the virus that it was made for.
The other issue is that the combination of vaccines that were unleashed. The mRNA vaccines appear to have a very narrow window of protection against the spike proteins on the surface of the virus. The problem there is that what if people infected with the virus that have received the vaccine are producing new variants of the virus since it is now having to find new ways to bind to cells in the body.
So now mRNA vaccines are basically useless and traditional vaccines are outdated.
What should have been done was, "at risk" patients should have gotten vaccinated and quarantined for their own safety. Healthy individuals should have been allowed to stay in a productive "normal" state throughout this pandemic. That would have allowed the virus to run its course through the population and burned itself out. Elderly and immune compromised people would have been given the experimental therapeutics and quarantined until everything had blown over.
Instead, we did the worst possible thing and prolonged the duration of the virus, thus allowing it to mutate and infect and injure more people than it should have.

Said Covid effectiveness is 3% but organ failure and clots are still as prevalent as they were in getting shot .

That's a whole different beast.
If you just need the paperwork so you can put food on the table, you gotta do what you gotta do.
I am just saying from a risk/benefit analysis, it makes about as much sense as getting last year's flu shot for the coming season.

There has been a variant that uses something other than the spike protein to enter the cell?

I had the J and J plus caught Covid and my measured antibodies are off the chart.
