I don't want to blame any victim, but anyone from the West who voluntarily goes to a shithole country like Haiti (however altruistic their motives) is incurring some degree of shithole risk.

Haiti is a level 4 do not travel at the state department. Any American who risks going to Haiti doesn’t deserve a service member risking their life to help.
