Jimbo Fisher to LSU?

Do y'all think we could lure him away from A&M? Woodward hired him once already, so they have already established that relationship. Jimbo favors LSU over A&M. He would have came here if we didn't hire Orgeron over him. I feel like if we line his pockets with enough coin, he will want to come back here and coach. They beat Alabama this year, while we have only beat Alabama once in the last 16 years. I also think he would keep O on the staff because of recruiting advantages. What do y'all think?

Offense stuck in 2007

Good coach but certainly not worth Saban money. His ceiling now is 9-10 wins or so, probably won’t ever win another title unless he changes the offense, and I doubt very seriously that he will.
All that said, he’s much much better than what we currently have, but we can do better than Jimbo with the hire

And Orgeron will not remain with this program in any capacity. You think after we fire him he would even want to stick around? He can go be the DL coach at McNeese

Honestly don’t want him. It will require a Texas am type contract. If he starts losing imagine having to keep him Bc his buyout is 95 million dollars! A&M was desperate to win. LSU isn’t that desperate. Can’t give a coach a10yr guaranteed contract.

The annual salary I don’t think is a big deal, but I absolutely don’t want ANY coach with 10 years guaranteed. That’s just not a good thing. I get A&M was willing to do it to build its program to the next level, but no way would I be okay with an LSU coach having 10 years guaranteed
