Very possible Ed came to his senses and instead of going out with cause, took the negotiated buy out. Now he gets to walk his seniors.

I obviously have no idea, nor do I care on the timing as long as we have a new coach next season
But the rumor is it’s for cause, there is a legal/timing/procedural element to it, and by firing before a game - which is a very inconvenient and inopportune time - the for cause holds more weight and sincerity. Again, that’s the rumor

Yep…that’s what I’ve thought all along…they’re gonna threaten with the for cause and no buyout and basically force O’s hand to take a negotiated lower buyout
