How high does inflation and the cost of living have to go up before it’s not “political”?

If Bad Orange Man is in charge, it's the worst economic crisis in history and is especially harmful to marginalized communities.

If Brandon is president, it's irrelevant because hot dogs are two cents cheaper than last year.

Honestly why does anyone care about any of this stuff? Of course everyone here will make it political. That’s what this board is for ever since Trump got elected. Inflation has always gon up and gone down.

I know a guy who’s son has let it take over his whole life. Constantly posts on the internet, attending rallies, refusing the vax, the whole yards. We’ve talked and I just shake my head and so does my friend. These things come and go. One day she will wake up we all know it.

The bottom line is y’all Trump supporters who voted for a Republican have made everything too political when it’s best just to let these things go and aw frick my wheelchair fell over

The reasons for inflation are obviously political

People need to stop being afraid of talking politics. We have reached a tipping point that Washington is ignoring the country’s best interests. They currently are arguing in front of our faces that the only possible way to pay our country’s debt is to raise more debt, and got pissy that they couldn’t raise the ceiling any further so they could put us into $3T+ more debt immediately. This is all while we are experiencing inflation due to unprecedented monetary policy measures implemented over the past year.

Anyone with a brain can see this is a bad plan, let’s not hide behind “politics” a it’s their damn fault

When the masses are no longer able to afford their fill of twinkies and hohos. That’s when it is going to get real.

By a show of votes (up - yes; down - no), check in if you have taken and passed both macro and micro economics classes?

Just buy Bitcoin and let the chips fall where they may

Every fiat currency in history dies. Some have a good run while austerity is in place but gradually in the name of growth or stability people allow for more and more irresponsible fiscal politicy followed with a required equally irresponsible monetary policy.

ETA: You downvoters aren't gonna make it if you are hitching your wagon to cash.

Because the government has their hands in everything, inflation will always be political in this country.

You mean, how much does real life have to actually suck before one stops waving the blue flag and begin dealing in realities?

Those who haven’t already admitted what’s causing inflation (and all the other things Biden & the Democrats are driving into the ground) never will. They’re too indoctrinated and lack the ability to form anything resembling an independent thought. They’ll believe whatever Democrat Party propaganda the TV tells them to believe.
