First Hole in one

After 54 years playing this game it finally happened! Played at Beau Chene yesterday with my son. Teed off at 2:15 with no warm up on the Oak Course. Got to hole number 5 at even par. Hole five was playing 133 yards with a slight breeze. Hit a smooth 8 iron and it tracked right at the hole. I turned to my son and told him that’s gotta be close. He began screaming it went in you finally did it. Hugs and screams ensued. Sorry I did not see it fall in the jar but it was still the golf thrill of a lifetime. The golf gods finally gave me a break.

Congrats! Played that hole a million times in my life. Never really sniffed an ace

Congrats, brother!
The ace has alluded me all these years of playing and am haunted by a stick my ball came to rest against directly in front of the hole in a tournament I was playing as a yute.

Awesome. Congrats. I had pretty much given up hope when it finally happened for me. I haven’t even been close to getting a second one.

Congrats to you!
46 years of golf and the closest I have come is a "hole-in-par."
First one in the water, second one – slammed dunked it.

While not an ace, this may be more impressive and rarer. Congrats

Congrats!! My grandfather loved to tell the story of how he would pay into a Hole in 1 club that payed out a big pot every time someone jarred one. He paid in for 20-30 years, came close, never got one. He finally said frick it and got out of the club. 6 months later he hit his first one. Ain't that how it always goes!

Excellent my man. I’m 61 been playing since age of 6 . Made my one and only ace at Howell Park using 3 wood on #15 at age 11. I figured it was easy. I figured wrong.

That's awesome you got to do it with your son there.
Closest I have been was in a money round and I landed it on the lip so close that if there was any wind it may have blown it in. Hit 3' past the pin and it had to have hit the pin because it landed 180 degrees opposite of where it landed. Would have been $250 for that one. But birdie it was.
