I wager a guy that big at safety is bound to be hurt a lot.

Oh ok, he’s gotta be the guy that tracked that ball down against Florida state

Or does Florida state have one too?

Steve Atwater measured 6'3.5" 212 at the combine in 1989.

That's the guy. That was one of the best plays by a safety I've ever seen. Straight up hawk. Guy is sick.

Not saying he's even the best safety in the class, but Jalan Catalon of Arkansas last year had comparable stats to Eric Berry's and was statistically the best freshman safety in the SEC since Berry in 07.
Catalon is draft eligible this year and projected as a 1st rounder, but Hamilton is being touted as a a top 5-10 pick.

Sounds like David Fulcher

People are so enamored over that play
It was a great play but no where near all time great plays. QB was already rolling to the sideline and it was the only throw to make

It sounds like you misunderstand why people are impressed by that play.
It has nothing to do with the actual interception

Wonder why they didn't compare his (redshirt) freshman year to Berry's freshman or soph numbers?

I remember thinking Taylor Mays was going to be so good out of USC. But there’s more to just being a freak in the pros. You gotta have good hips at safety, whereas in college you can kinda get away without that.
But Hamilton looks great.

Mays and Cushing were just growing into their new bodies

Mays was definitely born at least a decade too late

Catalon didn't even play his true freshman year because Chad Morris was a moron. I think they were really comparing each player's first season in the SEC.
They were both technically freshman stats.

He might be better. I'm thinking more along the lines of Sean Taylor.
