Rescue pup. Mother is an Aussie shepherd, they were unsure about the father but they think blue heeler.

Don’t take that sumbitch teal hunting in the marsh.

Haha. Remind me, is there a backstory to this comment?

Let me know if you decide you don’t want him.

congrats, that's a pretty pup! remember, it's just as important to train your wife as it is to train your dog. One weekend alone with the pup and she can ruin him if she isn't on board with what you're doing.
My wife was home with my lab all summer and would sit on the couch and just yell "no" at the dog without getting up and enforcing it. I'm having hell with that now, she's always right though.

Never! She’s fricking awesome so far. She listens great and does well in her crate at night. She is really my sons dog and he would be crushed if we had to get rid of her.

Yeah I’m working hard with both my son and wife. I’m helping them to establish dominance over her, that she is fourth in line in the house. We have two cats that think she should be 6th It’s really going well so far. Everyone is doing great. The cats are interested but the pup tries to play and they’re not ready.

Good looking pup there, his ears look like he has some JRT somewhere down the line.

Will be an entertaining dog. I have friends with Aussie shepherds and friends with heelers and they are all pretty funny and good dogs.

In a few weeks until it is about 18 months old you will want to kill that dog every other day.
After that will be a great dog the rest of your life.

I don't know about Aussies, but my heeler has been the easiest and best dog I've ever had. I can just leave her outside alone for a week or so and come back and you'd never know she wasn't being tended to. Easy dog. Only problems I ever had was when she was younger she killed everything within 1/4 mile of the house and brought it to the door.
