Pretty cool! I only have a cam set up at one of my hunting spots, but all I have there are does right now. They must be bedding close because they're there every morning for the past 14 days at 7:30. I'm going to leave them be and hope some bucks come calling around the rut.

It ain’t enough! 200 lbs only lasts about 8 days.

Last year our biggest buck probably only weighed 165ish, i think several will go close to or over 200 this year. Pine plantation with very little oak bottoms , oaks have done poor the last 2 years.

I wasnt laughing when a buck came back to life while I was dragging it out. Whooped my arse. Stood up like that and starting flailing its arms around hitting me about 200 times in about 10 seconds.

Getting the same starting last week after that first "cool" front here in SWLA. Love it!

Now it's raining it's arse off and hotter than hell and the mosquitos can swarm enough to literally carry you away... fun

I guess if you have time and money to put that much out just to take pictures of them go ahead. Seems excessive. I wouldn't be putting near that much out until later in the year when bucks start walking around in the daylight and are killable. You do you though.

Got to watch does sparring like that a few times last year. Once it was just a mama who was tired of her twins acting the fool. It was a lot of fun to watch.

Add in some dried molasses and cracked corn to your rice bran.

I feed a 50/50 mix of corn and protein pellets year round.

Just pulled mine from last season and had this nice 8 pull up for a nap

And doing his best dog routine

Before getting up and hunting a late season hot doe

So if he survived the local poachers n automobiles he should be a shooter this season

I guess all these bucks missed your memo

Here’s one from the stand Sunday, i also have stands not on feed. But since there are no acorns they are hammering the feed. Out of 4 hunts i had encounters with 2 mature bucks 3 hunts.

I’m trying haha, the big ten in last picture is the main one I’m after, never turned broadside or quarter in range. Got dark with no shot.

Had another big tall 8, never would come in range. I’m gonna hang another set about 100 yards down to catch them on the way.

Do you have bears/idea w molasses and corn mix seems very inviting for them or hogs vs deer
