Yahoo is trying to distract from the border. Same thing as the border patrol lies.

I fully expect the CIA and every national security alphabet agency to have every possible contingency mapped out, and all options available in planning.
Today's media would have lost their ever-living-shite over the pre-WW2 rainbow plans.

They had to get this article out in there so it could be used as a point-back when they really do kidnap and murder someone important.

Bulllllllllllshit. Assange would be an ally to Trump in exposing the deep state and global forces that want this country weakened if not outright destroyed.

In between the world wars, the US had a color-coded contingency plan for a general war with and against just about every possible combination of major power, along with Canada and Mexico.
As war drew closer, these were synthesized into the most likely "rainbow plans"--a play on the colors used in the previously established contingencies against individual nations. We ended up implementing portions of several of them (Rainbow 5, War Plan Orange, War Plan Black, War Plan Indigo, etc.)
Interestingly, our most 'accurate' two-front contingency actually contemplated war against Japan and Britain. We of course later subbed out Germany/Italy for the Brits in that one.
You think having war plans is the same as what the CIA was proposing here? They wanted to kill a man because he made them look stupid

Isn't this the same group that ran the "Steele Dossier" at the behest of the CIA so the FBI could get a FISA?

Headline should say It was that POS Pompeo. Trump admin lawyers are the ones that put a stop to it.

So the Trump administration wanted to kill Assange for exposing dem emails? It wasnt the IC who spied on Trump on behalf of the democrats and was actively framing him for working with Russians to steal said emails?
Makes perfect sense, Yahoo.

The CIA would NEVER pin that on Trump.

No, and I didn’t say that it was. I simply made the observation that today’s media would use similar faux-outrage in that situation.

Nowhere does the article stated that anyone “wanted” to do so. They had a plan to do so. They have plans to do just about everything imaginable. Or at least I hope they do.

The Hill is a mouthpiece for CIA propaganda, to the point of having Hill "journalists" on "news shows" yelling about Assad "gassing his own people", one of the biggest lies of the past decade
so now The Hill is going to plaster Trump's name to a CIA plot to kill Julian?
