Colbert tonight..

Just got home.. It came on after the weather... But I saw this.
The bit was they had invented the Whitest Paint Ever. It was so white that it would reflect 98.1% of the Suns rays and reduce the need for air conditioning.
But he made.. It was so White Jokes one after the other with the help of the audience.
Colbert said:
"It was so white that it had a daughter named Haley."
I just happen to wonder if another comedian had said:
"It was so black that it had a daughter named Shaniqua."
how it would have went over... But the Audience gave a huge laugh, applause and the network rolls on.
Hummm.. maybe I need to brush up on my racist jokes.

Sometimes I take a poop right after my favorite weatherman and I just can't get up and change the channel.. But with that said...
My interest is that it's so ironic that it's wrong to make racist jokes...
Unless you are on late night TV and the racist joke is about white people. Then it's funny.
While knocking a product that could help mankind...

I am just pointing out that for some reason it's ok for a white guy to make a white racist joke, (Which I did find kinda humorous btw), but yet a white comedian couldn't make a black racist joke and not be called on the carpet for it.. and on National TV at that.
Why the double standard?

Racist overtones aside, that’s not a funny joke at all.
Racist jokes are old as the hills. And you’re right, it’s inappropriate that there can be free telling of jokes about white people while also being unacceptable to tell jokes about black people, at least in mainstream media. But that’s where we are as a country today, everyone knows this.
If you’re going to make racist jokes, at least make them funny like Dave Chappelle or Chris Rock or Jeff Ross.

I know it has... But most racist jokes were always done in private or a bar.. Seems the left can dig up 50 year old high school yearbooks and use it against you for racisim. But if your woke you can crack those jokes on TV today and be ok.. As long as your joke is bashing whites...
I think maybe I am starting to be more concerned as to why our Television seem to approve of only one kind of comedy?

Funny thing is that I would have to search those guys and stream, or download them...
While Colbert is broadcast nationality and anyone can get it.
As a Nation, we have
NBC, CBS, and ABC as out three National Networks... With Fox trying... (These are the only over the Air networks)
Am I correct on this?
