Wow the traveling LSU fans at that game sounded louder than most LSU home games on that broadcast, lol.

My tickets for home games at the time were in Sec 420. We always referred to Raion as Raion & his sister Polyester. Fun days for sure.

This was one of my great memories of college football through the years. However, if the wind had shifted and filled that stadium up with smoke, the crowd would have panicked and trampled to death 10,000 people.

Same day think the 230 game the at the time the sec game of year with Florida and Tennessee playing with the usual gator victory.

I think that was the amazing back and forth game where UT jumped out like 28-0 and everyone thought this was finally their year to beat the Gators and then UF stormed back. Think the final was was 63-55 or something. Think that was also the game where UF safety Lawrence Wright planted the gator flag on the 50 after the game and declared on national tv, “if you ain’t a Gator, you’re Gator bait!”.

Damn good times.

That was an awesome victory. I still remember the all eyes on #3 Kevin Faulk's haircut.

I mentioned the tickets in Sec 420 because we all would call him Raion & his sister polyester. I know the game was at Auburn

The Dinardo era was actually a lot of fun. The program was on the way up again, and games like that just felt so freaking awesome.

No,this was the one in Knoxvile where everything that could go wrong for Tennessee did go wrong.Florida jumped out to a 35-0 in the rain. Spurrier went into a "prevent" offense and Tennessee came back and made the final respectable, 35-29. UT actually scored with about :10 to makeit 35-29 and tried an onside kick.

The LSU/Auburn series is a gem...some great games, going all the way back to 1988...would suck to have the enlarged conference schedule screw it up.
