Absolutely, which is why I spent a near decade going after liberals who tried to give Obama a pass on his drone attack hobby after harping about Bush 24 hours a day.

Yeah, pointing out the double standard isn't "whataboutism".

You’re probably right. But the point is Biden was elected to restore our standing with allies and bring civility back to international dealings. It’s not about Trump anymore. It’s about Biden lying to the American people and doing the exact opposite of what he promised to do.

The US/UK are selling Australia better subs than the French could. Its costing France defense industry $96 billion.

Which would be perfectly fine for liberals to bitch about, if they had any internal honesty and consistency, which they don't. It's just absurd for conservatives to bitch about Biden doing something they would cheer Trump for doing, because that also displays a lack of internal honesty and consistency.

See this is where you are completely wrong. Trump never promised to restore civility and improve relations with our allies. His abrasive foreign policy style was normal and expected. On the contrary, Biden ran for President on the premise that the United States’ standing in the world was severely damaged because of Trump and he would restore dignity to the Oval Office. In reality, he has damaged relations with our oldest allies far worse than Orange Man ever did. Biden lied, allies fried. If you can’t see the difference between these two scenarios, I can’t help you.

Why would what he ran on matter to the 74M people who voted for Trump?

If you don't understand why Trump supporters going after Biden for not being sufficiently nice to our allies makes zero sense, I can't help you (especially being I've already tried to explain it, at length, and that apparently didn't work).

Considering France’s history of breach of trust with fricking us on various issues, pulling their ambassador over this is rich.

I wonder how much overlap there is on the Venn Diagram of people outraged over upsetting the French now and people who wanted to rename French Fries in 2003

Since you asked…it matters because Biden ran on a platform of unity and being a President for both liberals and conservatives. That was obviously a lie. It matters because regardless of political party, we have to deal with the fallout of his betrayal.

For the past 4 years liberals have been crying about how bad our international relations were under Trump. Biden takes office and proceeds to damage some of our oldest alliances. Why is he immune from criticism for doing the exact same thing Trump was accused of? You people need to stop covering for the geriatric prick and hold him accountable for destroying this country’s standing in the world.

You either didn't read any of my previous posts, or there's nothing I can say to make you understand what I'm trying to convey. Either way, no reason to repeat myself again.

I'm not running away from anything. You're simply repeating the same argument I've already addressed, repeatedly. No point in typing it out again.

Sick burn. It's not like the world has changed considerably in the last 20 years since then. Want to know something better? France was right. We were wrong. I was wrong. The Iraq War divided us worse than the Vietnam War thanks to the internet and the advent of social media. We are still paying for that invasion almost two decades later.
