It’s going to take a few recruiting classes before this OL is where we want it.
There’s still talent and the effort should be better than it is.

Dumervil is still trying to survive summer conditioning. Martinez, Hill, Dellinger, Turner all look like they need more time in the weight room. None can impose their will on anyone.

LSU doesn't have the dudes on the offensive line that are going to scare you off the bus. They're all so lean now.

It’s more than just players being soft. They do not even understand what they are supposed to be doing or who to block. When you are standing there confused before the play begins, there is no way you are going to explode as the ball is snapped. They are left flat footed. Linebackers have the same issue. It’s poor coaching. Players are actually getting worse. Hines, Ingram, Deculus, Clark, Baskerville, TDP, Jenkins, Stingley have all gotten worse. This coaching staff has failed them.

Recruiting wise they've really whiffed on prospects. They are always in it until the last minute with a big time OT prospect but never close.

They're indeed however, they need to want to change, a desire to improve and, if all else fails, a kick in the arse.
