From my neighbor:
His packages aren’t delivered but the tracking status is “delivered”

I suspect there's something going on with the one in Covington. A package I've been waiting on has been "in transit" in Covington for a few days.

There have been backups due to Hurricane ida.

Port Allen is UPS I think. FedEx has a place on Seigan.

PA has UPS, I know this for sure. I don't think they have FedEx, but I could be wrong. I see all the UPS trucks leaving at the same time from time to time..

FedEx throughout southern LA is completely screwed up from Ida. They were pretty screwed up prior from COVID, but it is much worse now. They supposedly sustained a ton of damage here in Nola and some in Covington and were down for over a week after the storm, as in no pick ups or deliveries. FedEx ground started running around the end of last week and FedEx Express should be starting up soon. UPS on the other had seem to handle it beautifully. Were up and running the Wed after the storm.

I live in Memphis, no some connected FedEx guys...they lost or laid off (not sure) tons of drivers...hired tons of contractors and it has been a disaster....just fired tons of the contractors and are going a different direction- guessing paying more

Hey Stupid arse, if you’re going to Fed Ex in Port Allen you’ll notice everything is brown? That’s cause it’s UPS.
There isn’t a Fed Ex facility on the west side. Might explain why you don’t have your shite.

I have packages that left Olive Branch, MS en route to St. Rose, LA 2 weeks ago....haven't been seen since.

Just got off the phone with FedEx about a package that has supposedly been on a fedex vehicle “out for delivery” for the past 3 days and still no sign of it. Their website and status updates are pure bullshite.
They keep offering me the option to go pick up the package myself. But frick that. If it’s really in a truck for delivery, then how can I pick it up from the warehouse.
If the website admitted that they’re FUBAR and that I’ll get the package when I get it, that would be bad enough. But to keep telling me it’s out for delivery for 3 days running is a shitty way to run a business.

FedEx covington has been running the passed few days.
Those trucks are super annoying at 6am.
It was easy when they weren't running.

Fed Ex has gone completely to shite. After Ida UPS stepped up and helped out my business while Fed Ex founds new ways to hide behind fine print in their terms and conditions and stick it to us to protect their revenue. Never again.

Butcher box boxes of frozen meat are somewhere in their warehouse. Alot of refunds will have to be given.

My neighbor drives for FedEx small packaging service and he said they are beyond f’d up. They are so short staffed even the overnighted packages are being pushed off to their regular ground service.

1) FedEx does not have a facility in port Allen as others have noted. The area FXG distribution centers are in BR on reiger road, in carencro on 49, in Covington north of 12 on 59, and in st rose
2) FedEx does not employ drivers nor do they own trucks. FedEx Ground (the 18 wheelers) are independent contractors for both trucks and drivers. FedEx fulfillment delivery vehicles are likewise independently owned and operated, the routes are bought and sold on a market similar to the old newspaper delivery routes and are controlled by several large scale route operators as well as smaller mom and pop companies. During holiday rush they’ll literally hire anyone with a working vehicle and a drivers license
3) there was a hurricane the week before last, you might have heard about it
