Some comments on my game experience

I know a lot of folks have commented that us older folks should shut up complaining, because the players like the music etc.
Well, that is fine, but my wife and I discussed coming home this morning, that that was the worst game experience we have ever had in TS that wasn't a rain storm or something weird.
why is it necessary to play this awful music after every play in the game. It doesn't stop until just before the ball is snapped. I don't know how the players can hear anything because the music was unusually loud last night. Maybe the lack of people didn't absorb the sound like usual, but it was overbearing, even if you like that crappy rap stuff that is called music.
the tv timeouts after almost every play made the game seem like it would never end. I counted one series that took almost 20 minutes to run 4 plays with the TO', players laying on the field, and the commercials.
All in all, it was a horrible game experience, and we are seriously considering given the state of the program and our awful game experience, that we will not be renewing our 4 season tickets, after 30+ years.
I know they aren't going to change anything for us older fans, but if they are catering only to the students and young people, they will go broke.
thanks for the rant space.

Should we stay off your lawn too? It's the sign of the times, sir.

Mid-40's - music doesn't bother me that much. Just dial back the volume when 60 percent of the stands are empty.
However, the pace of play and tv timeouts is an absolute painful experience at times. A lot of people found out how nice it is to watch from their recliner last year.

Was a factor when I gave up my tickets. Overall game experience sucks. 2000-2007 were the golden years of Tiger Stadium.

51 here…the game experience is ruined

Don’t worry there will be four more people that will buy your tickets.

McNeese players were dropping like flies. That’s what slowed the game down so much. This is not uncommon early in the year or against outmatched FCS opponents. Not sure what you think anyone could do about this.

Haven’t been back in like 5 years. It’s just more enjoyable to stay home. Oh well.

It won’t be you though will it? All you hipsters mocking boomers don’t have enough money all together to buy a season ticket. Open your cock holsters again when you have a job that doesn’t involve serving coffee.

Yes, the music was too loud. Yes TV commercials are ruining the games. And yes many out here agree with you.

You couldn’t pay me to attend a game now. The hassle of traffic, parking, dealing with drunken fans, uncomfortable seats, over-priced and under quality concessions, etc. are no longer worth it for me. I prefer to watch the games from the comfort of my recliner, in air conditioned comfort, in front of my big screen with drink and food a short walk away in my kitchen. And yes I am old.

Except that they won't.
Saying this is no longer true.

I spent more time watching the TV clock than the game itself. However, there were a lot of injuries in the game - most all were McNeese players. It was a very hard hitting game. Fun to watch! I’m going back next week..... Wouldn’t mind some old school music mixed in as well for us “fans”: CCR, Stones, Bob Seager, A/C D/C, ZZZ Top......

I guess they feel that they have to do something to make some noise now that the student section is a shell of its former self.

Sound sucks in half the stadium, if you don't like it where you are sitting, talk to the ticket office about moving to a different area of the stadium.

Yeah, you'll be called an old curmudgeon here but you're not wrong.
Tiger Stadium should take notes from the Rose Bowl in this regard as the music was MUCH better and they mix the cooler old stuff in with today's unbelievably awful shite - making everyone happy.
