Snow Crab Legs

I’m looking for all you can eat snow crab legs this weekend in Baton Rouge. Lauberge does not have them anymore of the buffet. Do you know of any place that has them on a buffet locally?

Just go to Albertsons or Winn Dixie or whoever has them on sale. They’ll steam them for free. All the excess of the buffet, without the trashiness

The casino was doing crab legs about 2 weeks ago. I guess they may have been king crab legs.
It looked like a madhouse

Drive over to Kiln, Mississippi and go to Jourdan River Steamer. Not AYCE but damn good steamed seafood

Silver Slipper in Bay St. Louis has them daily on the buffet.

Um have you seen the line at Albertson's seafood counter?

Nobody is doing AYCE Snow Crabs in Louisiana right now.

There’s a shortage right now, and even if you can find them on a buffet, it’s gonna cost you. We found a place in Houston last weekend that had them (Kin II) and it was like a stampede every time they filled the bowl, which wasn’t very big. As someone mentioned already, your best bet is probably Silver Slipper but it’ll be $40+ a head; I’ve dropped over $300 at Jourdan River Steamer before… it’s good but it costs and arm and a leg. Go to Albertsons or Whole Foods and make them yourself… Winn-Dixie even had them on special sometimes.

I assume most of my tax dollars are spent at the Albertsons seafood counter.

I'm paying $30 a pound right now. From a major food distribution company and I have national account pricing.

My local Sams Club online says Snow Crab Legs are $17.23 lb and available for pickup at 10:00 AM

I guess I don’t understand AYCE. I can’t eat that much at once though. Just buy and steam at home.

I can peel and eat crawfish with the best of them with zero effort.
However, snow crab legs are a royal pain in the arse for me and not worth the time to get a small piece of crab meat.

My local Safeway has them for a lot less.

Yep. Pretty sure some nights they also offer lobsters. Haven't been myself- but family said they're worth the trip....I'd call them for details- not sure if it's a seasonal thing, or not.
