I would have UCLA somewhere between 20 and 25. LSU would be unranked on my poll at this point.

Judging by the data set of games we have so far, they absolutely should. And seeing how the rest of their conference performed so far, it'll be kind of disappointing if they don't finish near the top of their conference this year.

They’ve dominated both teams they’ve played. You got 25 teams other teams that have done that with at least one of their wins being against a team that was better than 5-5 last year? There’s really zero logical argument that they don’t deserve to be ranked this week, probably pretty high.

Well, if they do, you take that new data point and re-rank them and everybody else the next week. They are rankings, not predictions. They should be super fluid, especially in the beginning of the season.
