Found a wallet

I was at a Racetrac convenience store and found a wallet. There was a DL, CC and $100. Tried to find the guy on social media but nothing. I decided to leave the wallet with the cashier but I kept the CC and cash and left a note in the wallet for him to call me in the event he returned so I could return the contents. I received a call from the store manger to return the contents of the wallet and they would deal with it. I obviously said no and that the owner could call me. He then said he would call the police if I don’t return the contents.

I lost a wallet in a gas station after an LSU game once.
I had won at LCR that day and had about 600 bucks in it.
Figured out i had dropped it and went back to the store
Wallet was returned but I guarantee that cashier had the cash

You’re retarded. This is a common scam to rob people. Drop a fake arse wallet somewhere (preferably a white part of town), wait for some Good Samaritan to take the bait, then rob them at the meet up.

You tried ALL social media? Did you look for or have the insurance card? If so contact the agent.
