potential gulf tropical system next week

Thankfully upper level winds will limit development potential but both GFS and Euro are developing a TS that rides the coast. Due to south Louisiana being devastated its something to watch, because even the rain and wind with a TS could affect weakened infrastructure and roofs. Let’s hope this develops into nothing at all
GFS skirts Nola and goes toward mobile
Euro has Panama City with a very weak system
Didn’t see a thread on it, so figured I’d post. I’ll let the experts come in and say if it’s anything worth keeping an eye on

Concern level very low.
It's going to be in a hostile environment all the way. Expecting a weak storm (if anything) that just brings a little rain along with it. Which certainly parts of SELA need zero additional rain, this isn't likely to amount to much.

What’s wrong with the information I posted?
Normally a weak system isn’t worth a thread but it could potentially bring gusts and rain to an area already without power, tarps on roofs, etc so they may need to prepare accordingly ahead of time to prevent further damage.
This is a genuine serious thread meant to inform people already dealing with shite. I searched, didn’t see anything, so thought I would post. If one of the meteorological experts want to create a thread with more in depth info they’re welcome to do it and this one can be axed
