I dont know who you are listening to because I have not heard that. LSU in the last 10 yrs has played mobile QBs better than anyone. Manziel, Jackson, and Hurts had career low days vs LSU with only Hurts getting a victory and he had the Marine Corps around him…

Going back to 2011 to say how good our current defense could handle a mobile QB is pretty dishonest. Should we go back to 2019 games to argue that our current offense could drop 50 on anyone?

New year, new players, new coaches, and new scheme. We don’t know what to expect

Spot on.
I have never understood the "MY TEAM has never been good ...." type of thinking. Players, coaches, game plans, etc. change every year so how can you group any program into a "never" or "always" category?

You hit on the head, we know we got SPEED, TALENT, EXPERIENCE, but how they will play and execute is 2 different things.

I remember the assault we gave Lamar Jackson and Louisville. Won $1,000 bet that afternoon thanks to our D.

LSU has quick, athletic guys, and so we should be better against athletic QBs than most teams. In fact, we have historically been very good, dominating the likes of Johnny Manzel. However, that doesn’t tell us much about how we will do under a new coordinator and scheme.

I'm sorry why does it matter how LSU's defense did against running QB's in 2011 when none of these coaches were involved and the players were 10 years old?

A mobile qb is only good until he gets hit over and over. We have the speed to do it.
