Are you really going to post all that and then NOT tell us the neighborhood?

Are you the shooter? Can’t say I’m surprised.

Hoover police apparently thought everyone should know. Some of Greystone, Homewood, Vestavia, and Mountain Brook residents got the notification. But not all residents. It’s odd.

A search is underway for a gunman who slashed the tires of Hoover police vehicles and then fired several shots at officers.
The ordeal began about 8 p.m. at the Hoover Operations Center on Lorna Road.
Police Chief Nick Derzis said an officer was leaving the building when he noticed a man in the parking lot stabbing the tires on the cruisers parked there.
The officer yelled at the man and then went back inside to get more officers for backup. The man was armed with a knife and a gun.

As the officers began to follow the man, he fired several shots at them. The officers did not return fire, and no one was injured.

Hoover police have set up a large perimeter along U.S. 31. A helicopter is providing air support.

I don't think the location alerts are extremely accurate.

Looks like you made that in Microsoft Word to cover your tracks

What is crazy, is that I have not seen any police cruisers, heli activity is intense, but no cars

4 people in my house, all on the same AT&T account. One got the alert, and of course it was my daughter who freaked the f out. We’re in Inverness, nowhere near where it occurred.
