My daughter became very Ill yesterday morning around 10am. We will have her tested tomorrow but based on symptoms we are confident it is covid. All the local stores are sold out of home test and there is a 3 day wait for a rapid test. By 3pm I had her started on a covid treatment pack sold by a local dr (zinc, vitamin C, D, zithromax, and HCQ). I'm very happy to report that she woke up this morning feeling almost 100%.

But everything that is going on got me thinking about the plot from Planet of the Apes.

The virus continues to spread and many who would oppose authoritarian government are killed off.

Simultaneously, government overreach and dictatorial policies gain more ground every day.

18 months ago I would have laughed at a statement like that but now I think otherwise.

This delta variant has become everything that original covid was feared to be, and with more mutations on the horizon, I'm starting to think this was the plan all along.

Does anyone else think that it's a little odd that the government created so must mistrust last year concerning this virus by getting their facts wrong ( ie...lockdowns, hospitals overflowing, distributive justice, 10 days behind Italy, mask mandates, everyone is asymptomatic for 14 days, etc.)and now many of the things they harped on last year are coming to fruition under a much more severe strain? I'd like to believe that the government is that incompetent but it is starting to seem like it was intentionally done to create mistrust in the government so more people would die this year and who knows how many next year.

And now we're being told we may need booster shots every 5 months to be healthy while we inject random chemicals into our bodies? I'm not anti vax but this is crazy talk for a virus with 99.5% survivability rate and medication available to treat it very effectively.

At this point I'm convinced that next year will be worse than it is now. What is the boards outlook for this winter and beyond?

ETA***
Rapid test this morning confirmed it is covid. She says she feels normal but does have a mild fever. Other than that she is good. Our school even said she can come back after 4 days with a negative test. Thank you all for your support.

No stopping a virus like COVID.
Sorry to hear about your situation. Truly.

Viruses mutate to be more contagious and less lethal.
It’ll never go away.
We have to do our best to live our lives.

Glad to hear you have a local doctor who is treating the virus instead of being told to stay hydrated and contact the doc if symptoms get worse.

May your daughter continue to feel better and defeat the virus before it has an opportunity to overload her immune system.

How can anyone trust a government who tells it's citizens to get a vaccine that doesn't stop you from getting the disease, doesn't stop the spread of the disease, doesn't negate the disease safety protocols?

What exactly does the vaccine do? Shorten your hospital visit if you have to go?

My outlook for this winter and beyond is the exact same as my outlook over the last 2 years.
I don't give a shite. I'm not afraid of Covid. I don't believe anything the govt tells me.

The case fatality rate of Delta is far lower than the original strain. Less deadly and more virulent.

That's amazing. How many people died because doctors refused to get patients on this type of regimen early?

This is a misnomer. It is now proven that this vaccine is not a vaccine. It's a shot to alleviate symptoms, nothing more.

quote:

Vaccine: A product that stimulates a person's immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease

The above is not happening. These "shots" are nothing more than an aspirin in the arm, so to say. Small pox, polio vaccines, now that is what a real vaccine is all about. Vaccines eradicate viruses, not just make you feel better.

your daughter is just going to piss all that out bc your dr didn't explain how to make sure her body absorbs them. All those things can be wonderful for the body. However, there is no way your daughter is suffering from Vit C deficiency. Vitamin D is the best thing on that list, but she probably already has natural D3. D3 is fat soluble. If a person does not take it with fat, it will absolutely not be absorbed.

If a Zpack worked then sorry to break it to you but I don’t think she has Covid.

Antibiotics do not help with viruses, possible she had a bacterial infection.

This will go on forever. Amazing you found a doc that would prescribe HCQ. Is Zithromax a prescription drug? Happy for y’all she’s recovering.

Not it hasn't. It is apparently more contagious yet simultaneously far less fatal.

Any MDs that can justify or deny my opinion on this, but did we set ourselves up for more deadly strands of CoVId with lockdowns? My thinking is we could have built up natural immunity with weaker variants and no be as vulnerable to the mutated variants as they got stronger.

A couple of coronaviruses that are part of the "common cold" go around every year. One of them, according to a German study, is the reason why so many people have enough immunity to be asymptomatic or only mildly affect by covid19.

do you want the truth?

I shall reply to just a bit.

1. if you get a booster that's not RANDOM CHEMICALS. so dramatic.
booster Chemistry = your first ones.

2. your experience with your local pharmacy made the process unnecessarily stressful.
you can look back and see all the distribution issues.
normally not something they carry.
we don't know if they sold out due to real demand or if people are hoarding.

you should obviously be taking proper nutrition already given what everyone knows now.

Nothing has changed. People aren't really dying outside the normal rates.

You should probably actually look into how vaccines work. That is they don't do much at all. Vaccinated people still get sick from all diseases. Vaccines should be pretty well bunk now. The funny stuff they do to calculate who counts as vaccinated, died from not the vaccine, etc. has all been done before with other vaccines. Polio was notorious for this as they used to have another disease just like it with aseptic meningitis. They would call almost everything polio before the polio vaccine, after the vaccine if someone got sick they would call it aseptic meningitis. The total numbers of both those together were the same, its just before they were almost all polio and afterwards they were almost all aseptic meningitis. That's just one example. SIDS and DPT is pretty crazy coincidental too.

Curious that the evil authoritarians are advocating for preventative medicine that would prevent the killing off of those who oppose authoritarian government. The authoritarians are actually trying to save you.
