Is there still a boil water advisory in Jefferson Parish?

They will probably be under a boil water advisory until the plants are running on normal power. Doesn’t necessarily mean the water isn’t good. I think that is Dept. Health requirement.

Anyone know how accurate the Entergy outage maps are? My street is showing up as having power, but the app still says no power. The estimate given earlier was 9/8.

It's not very accurate.

Almost every person I’ve checked for, it’s the opposite of what it says. Wrong for me, mom and friends.

Cell service in Ponchatoula still sucks arse. 8 days later and they still don’t have towers on temp power.

Entergy map proved to be correct. Got every light in the house on and AC turned down. Electricity is a beautiful thing.

7mph and 3 days off from this prediction. Possible damn good nomination for best weather prediction by a novice in weather thread history.

Made my morning commute to Lowe’s/gas station/wherever.

Now time to change the generator oil.

Thibodaux and parts of Raceland never lost water.

Down the bayou has been getting water over the last few days. I think pressure is still low but it’s way better than nothing.

It’s def been rough in thibodaux, but I know it’s way worse as you make it dtb…

Made a run to Lafayette Saturday for my daughters bday and it’s weird in a way to go to “normal” type of situation…vs everything back in our areas..

Hope to get to a point where I can enjoy a day this Sunday for my bday and watch football. So many unknowns these days, that is the normal way of life now

Anyone know how to apply for a generator reimbursement from FEMA?

I don’t see a link on their website.

Thanks.
