Seriously trying to contemplate the need to evacuate. I’m in Metairie off west esplanade and causeway. Not worried about flooding, house is two story brick . The thought of ten hours in a car with kids and dog sounds like a nightmare. I have acess to house with home generator after the storm. Is it just the fear of listening to winds for a few hours?

Any of you who start political bullshite tonight and tomorrow, I'm going to find you and dip your dick in Tobasco Sauce. Then rub it with sandpaper and do it fricking again.

I'll also taddle on you to Rummy, who I hope shows zero mercy.

My in laws are in one of those newer subdivisions south of Highway 22 in the Bedico area. They are staying. I think they are in for a rough couple of days.

Prep is done. Just finished my 2nd beer and lit the grill. Nothing to do but wait and see.

Good luck to everyone out there.

WAFB not in agreement with NWS’s team in Slidell. WAFB is closer to the NOAA predictions.

IDK who is right but the pressure is dropping, so the intensity is likely picking up.

If you want to throw a little into Patreon, check on hurricanetrack.com.

They will have quite a few live cams with battery backup around the coast. They even have a dashboard with all of them on it at once.

I live really close to you and I'm having the same thoughts. Also have access to a house with a generator after the storm if needed.

Tornadoes.

The wind screams. Kids might be pretty frightened. It screams for hours. Have any ear plugs?
