In Afghanistan — asking if we here in the US needed to worry about things. And then said “the taliban isn't big enough to do anything, right” and before I could reply she said “but they did 9/11 so”.

So I told her to pray for all involved .. and that elections have consequences ... and that shite could always hit the fan.

Glad to see she’s aware and paying at least some attention ... hopefully her Biden voting friends are as well.

It will all morph into Trump's fault or Rand Paul and the Republicans forced us to leave , or Ted Cruz went to Cancun. A web of twisted lies will be generated by the Dims and become media talking points.

I would have asked her how the Taliban knocked down building 7 and why they told the BBC reporter about it 20 minutes before it happened.

One could make the argument that this current situation was designed to set the stage for the next 9/11. It certainly doesn’t hurt at the very least.

Ask her how she feels about the draft and another, larger war in Asia.

You may want to have her read a book. Or at least a Wikipedia page.

Start with al-qaeda. LINK

(Hint: al-qaeda is not the Taliban)

As a general rule Taliban only fricks with people within their borders, and Pakistan.

They do provide a training ground for other jijadi groups like al-qaeda and ISIS to come and practice their craft.

Most of the exported terrorism across the globe is traced back to those two brands of radical islam.

And that frightens her. She was 7 or so months old when 9/11 Happened — she was in my arms as I watched it in real time on tv on The Today Show.

She visited the 9:11 memorial and museum twice — she was most wrapped up in it and asked lots of questions but more about what that day was like for us and what we did/felt.

She’s a junior and so far has held to her beliefs and hasn’t morphed Into a liberal quack.

Not quite accurate. The Taliban sheltered Al-Qaeda who were the terrorists on 9/11. Maybe we're splitting hairs here but we're getting well into the generation that didn't actually experience it and only had to learn about it coming into their own now.

The Taliban didn't do 9/11. Al Queda and Osama bin laden did 9/11. The Taliban was friendly with that group but wee not directly involved in the planning of what happened.

Where did the time go, right?

I was two weeks into my first year of law school.
