Under Trump, the military would have conducted an orderly withdrawal, because he demanded competence and the tali knew that under a REAL leader like Trump, hell would rain upon them.
Right now, with a depends pissing turnip leftist democrat appeasing weak coward piece of shite infecting the White House, the Tali have advanced with nothing to fear. Piece of shite turnip pulled out all combat power AND force protection power and left civilians stranded. Now they are RUSHED back to a scene of utter chaos, possible surrounded and possible having to evacuate under fire.
CNN and the whore demon KUNT Pelosi will tell the uneducated indoctrinated stupid Americans that they handled it well. The truth is the exact opposite.
But HEY!! Look on the bright side! The depends pissing turnip can springboard this event and tackle Iran next by flying over there, getting on his knees and sucking Iranian Mullah cock and swallowing it. That sums up the senile turnip's foreign policy.

I know we are saying “Joe fricked up”. I agree. But we know Joe ain’t making these calls. It’s the senior leadership in the Pentagon and probably Obama/Rice like every other high level call that is made.
We all predicted that give it 6 months after Biden’s inauguration we wouldn’t recognize the US. I don’t think anyone could have predicted it would be this bad. frick.

Taliban have overrun Kabul. Thousands of American diplomats are stranded in Kabul. Presumably, in that gazillion-dollar embassy we taxpayers paid for. Taliban are executing Afghani pilots and government officials. Reports coming out of Kabul indicate they haven't started killing American diplomats yet. Hummm? I can't wait to see how Susan Rice lies her way out of this debacle?

Generals and career minded officers and diplomats lied about progress last decade.
Nobody wanted to be one to end it since this was predictable, we finally did end it and Taliban took over in a week instead of the anticipated 2- 3 months.

Thankfully the current administration had the foresight to evacuate the military presence under the cover of darkness, not telling their allies, instead of ensuring the safety of the civilians first.

That is absolutely true. The Washington Post published the Afghanistan Papers in 2019, which made it apparent that the situation on the ground wasn't always conveyed to the public honestly.
That set of documents and the Rumsfeld cables are some documents more people need to read, because it becomes clear that Rumsfeld didn't understand what was going on, and that very few media outlets were honest about the war.
