They count them all as covid as though they’ve gone retarded and forgot how to be actual doctors to deduce what the real illness is.

This was frustrating when my daughter was recently sick. All they cared about was whether it was COVID or not. When it was negative, we basically had to beg to get a diagnosis. Turns out it was a "touch of pneumonia" and needed antibiotics, which cleared it up in less than 24 hours.

RSV needs to be taken seriously

Yep. And in case people haven't noticed....this is August, right smack dab in the middle of Summer. We have a major RSV outbreak......in SUMMER.

What will RSV cases look like going into Fall and Winter? Will this continue? Will it get worse? Will we see the traditional winter RSV season on top of what we already have/had?

And with the regular flu season approaching, medical experts are concerned over how hospital capacity could be affected.

Umm, based on last years numbers the flu has been basically eradicated.

My theory is the significant disruption in school and childcare attendance and OCD level cleaning of everything allowed to remain in classrooms several times per day for a long period of time.

Now more recently people have gone back to semi-normal interaction, children have more consistently been in child care as parents went back to work, with immune systems that went a year or so without normal exposure to viruses and bacteria. People have flooded water parks and the like over the summer to return to fun before the new school year. All of this lends to a return to normal levels of passing around viruses and bacteria for the first time in over a year.

We both know the likely answer to that. We've done this in threads before.
