Have any of you taken Ivermectin or do you know anyone personally who has?

If you don’t mind sharing, I am interested in hearing your experience with Ivermectin.

I give it to my dogs. They're fine with it. Good for heartworms.

Friend of mine and her husband take the paste from Tractor Supply. She's a nurse who worked covid in a nursing home ... this was prior to knowing about ivermectin but she never contracted covid there and still hasn't doing home health.
Anyway, her husband is a little heavy ... he works in a trailer office box type situation with two other guys. One coughed from Monday through Friday and ended up getting tested on Friday .. positive. The other guy got tested .. positive as well but no symptoms at that point.
Husband never ever tested positive. They'd been doing it only for maybe 2 or 3 weeks .. they were taking 1 dose, 2 weeks apart. When he found out the guy was positive, he took a dose that day and 48 hours later. Never tested positive.
Make of it what you will.

I’ve posted this before, but my wife’s friend was prescribed it in Florida about a month ago. That and was told to take C, D, and Zinc. I saw the Dr office discharge papers myself. They were fine in a few days.

I remember buying and injecting lambs, cattle, goats with LA200 and Ivermectin as a kid.
That is all I have, I would try it if I was knocked down by COVID.

Rogan did a great podcast on it.

This virus could be dead if ivermectin wasn't so cheap.
No money to be made, no cure.

"I am very worried about the long term effects of a vaccine for this nothing virus!"
"I am not worried about the long term effects of taking dog medicine daily for years for this nothing virus!"
Makes total sense.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with Covid and it hit him very hard. He read about Ivermectin and self medicated. He was dead less than a week later. It was the side effects that got him, not the Covid. He was struck by a car while licking his balls in the middle of the road. At the autopsy, not only did he test negative for Covid but he was heartworm free as well.

I’m told it Tastes like a shot of alcohol. No (immediate) side effects (upset stomach, etc). This is the liquid form of which I’m speaking.
The 3 people I know who’ve taken it are all in the medical field FWIW.
None of them have gotten sick. But neither have I and I haven’t taken it. Yet. I’ve just kept
My distance and slathered hand sanitizer on me everywhere I went.

Why not just pick random shite from the store and start ingesting? Likely will have the same effect.

This is perplexing to me because the paste wormers are based on dosages for horses, not humans. How the hell do they deduce how much paste to ingest to get a correct dosage of Ivermectin. With a pill or
Liquid you can measure an exact amount of the actual medicine. How do you do that with a
Paste wormer designed for 1000# animals?
It’s like eating ketchup to get a certain amount of lycopene. How do you know how
Much you’re getting in a shot of ketchup?

quote:Meh…while ivermectin hasn’t proven effective, there are some studies that suggest it may be. The studies just haven’t been either large enough or double blinded, so the evidence is still lacking. I think a few substantial studies are ongoing right now that will hopefully answer the question of effectiveness.
