As of Friday, think state had over 2400 hospitalizations. We’ll see if that drops soon … JBE will take credit

It also means we should stop watching cases as a deciding metric as there is nothing we do short of actual shutdowns/lockdowns, that will slow or stop cases

It should have never been about CASES!!!!!!

Hospital admissions FROM (not with) COVID
ICU hospitalizations FROM (not with) COVID
ICU hospitalizations with vents FROM (not with) COVID
Deaths FROM (not with) COVID

These should have been the only metrics ever considered (or reported)

Even that wont work anymore because people arent scared. Will still have large gatherings at home

Sure would be nice if the moron decision makers figured this one out. No more measures of any kind.

Of course we were told on here about 2 weeks ago that the decline would happen in 4-5 days.

If you go back and the thread, most speculation was the Rt getting below 1.0 around August 15-20. Looks like it may get there a little sooner.

i see Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Georgia are also on a sustained downturns.
And Texas has plateaued. Yet the media is focusing their COVID coverage on The South.

I believe all of those states are in the south.

We had already passed the inflection point on the curve before Governor Sloth put his boot back on our necks, but he will 100% credit his leadership in forcing us back to face diapers as the reason for the recovery.

Zero

That’s the ducking problem. He enacts restrictions with no measurable or actionable goals.
