First thing that popped in My head, but I think it's probably Goodfellas. Liotta's final segment, when he breaks the 4th wall, is what puts it over the top for me.

Alec Baldwin for The Royal Tenenbaums was the first thing that came to mind.

ETA: Michael Douglas’ narration in wonder boys is fantastic too. Professor Tripp is one of my all time favorite movie characters.
