Not surprising. I see zero surface rotation.
It'll be interesting if Fred will even be able to get a circulation going again under one of the convective bursts.
Pretty much. Hispaniola tore it up more than they thought it would. Since it wasn't as vertically stacked, it felt the surface steering more, which is in a westerly direction.
If it would have held together more it should have gone more north towards FL like they thought.

This thing got tore up by land and shear from the west… it may gather some strength if it can stay together over the open waters but highly unlikely.. we should shift our attention to Grace… she looks very impressive this morning…..

Grace will just follow Elsa and Fred ? No serious threats to central Gulf Coast likely.

It’s not the speed of Fred’s dick, but where and for how long he uses it.

So I shouldn't be nervous that my boards monday will be affected right (Metairie/NOLA)? Because if it gets postponed or stopped midway like my colleague's did in the past, I may lose my mind at this point

If you leave your boards outside they will likely get wet, so maybe apply some weatherproofing.

Get ready for the hysteria after this GFS run ends. Not looking good….

Decent agreement so far between the GFS, ICON, and CMC.

Now that it points at Louisiana, right?

these people will say prayers and panic if a stiff 25 mph breeze is forecasted 7 days from now

When I watch the runs it looks like they all shift it back towards the east. Am I missing something? Maybe link your site

I'd say that the difference in virtually no model showing development vs. all now showing a hurricane in the gulf is pretty substantial, huh?

Peej says
And the very next model run has several models with a hurricane in the gulf?
That's a hell of a coincidence.
