Losing smell and taste for weeks on end as a potential result of infection seems like something a 40 year old may want to avoid but that's just me. That would suck.

I did on advice from my doc, I have an illness that damages the immune system.

Wife and I got it because we (naively) believed Biden would lift the stupid goddamn Covid test to come back in to the US if you're vaccinated for our Costa Rica trip.

Yet here we are, still had to test even having been vaccinated.

And I wasn't really concerned anyway. I was in the Army. If I was going to have adverse effects to a vaccine, that shite would have happened years ago.

They may be worried about long term/latent effects of contracting the virus, which we do not know yet. They take their chances of long term effects of vaccine created by America’s best scientists v. the long term effects of a virus created by China for biological warfare.

It’s not altogether unreasonable. I say let them make up their own minds, though.
